There are three different types of integration API implementation for any Vacation Rental system:

Property Manager Import API Implementation: In this type of integration we used to fetch the property information from the Partner’s system and store the information in the Vacation Rental system.Any booking/availability request needs to be handled within the Vacation Rental system or will be passed on to the partner system based on the API implementation.This type of implementation involves writing a batch job to fetch the data in bulk and update in Vacation Rental system.We also need to implement Live Availability and Booking API implementation.

Property Manager Export API Implementation: In this type of integration we used to export the property information from Vacation Rental system in the format requested by the Partner system.This type of implementation involves writing a batch job to fetch the data in bulk and generation of an xml or json based on the Partner’s requirement.

Channel API Implementation: In this type of integration we used to export the property information from Vacation Rental system in the format requested by the Partner system.This type of implementation involves writing a batch job to fetch the data in bulk and generation of an xml or json based on the Channel Partner’s requirement.Along with this we also need to implement the Rates API-for pushing the rates information to the channel.Availability API-for pushing the availability information to the channel.Reservation API-implementation to pull the reservation information from the channel.
